Abstract:
In the talk I will discuss various notions of higher order structures in mathematics, and will illustrate by examples from dynamics and topology. Then I will extract what I think are the basic facts involved and introduce a new concept: hyperstructures. Finally I will give examples of application areas, e.g. biology, where they may provide a useful framework.Seminar Location: The seminars are held at:
