Alexander Joel "A.J." Alon
- Graduate Student in the Department of Computer Science at Virginia Tech.
- He is pursing a Masters Degree in Computer Science and Applications with an anticipated graduation date of 2009.
Research Interests
- A.J. is interested in visualization for analysis and education. His thesis work is in algorithm/data structure visualizations and their utility as pedagogical aids. He is also interested in usability engineering, interface design, gaming in education, and human-computer interaction in general.
Project
- While at VBI, A.J. worked on a visualization tool that generates interactive graphs, charts, maps, and statistics of data produced by EpiSIMS. His Mentor was Dr. Keith Bisset.
