Ajit's research focuses on building a service oriented architecture for creating a grid of virtual machines. Virtual Machines act as computational resources and they can be arranged into a grid on a network of physical machines. The SOA concept is useful as these virtual machines can be used to provide services to users.He worked on developing a digital library interface for querying epidemiological simulations with Dr. Keith Bisset.The project consists of building a digital library interface for querying simulation results which will return the results if the run has been done previously else will run the simulation and add the results to the digital library.
